Travel between Paris and Nice by train

Nice is a picturesque city on the French Riviera and a popular destination for holidaymakers of all ages, with something to offer everyone. The beautiful view on the Promenade des Anglais waterfront is world famous and the Colline du Chateau, overlooking the Baie des Anges and harbour, offers a spectacular vantage point.

Try travelling by train from Paris to Nice : the journey will take you around 5h45. Called TGV, the French high-speed trains are absolutely the best way to travel between major cities. If you are hungry, you can find a large selection of meals (hot dishes, salads, desserts, sandwiches and snacks). From Gare de Lyon, you will reach Nice Ville, which is conveniently located in the heart of the city. If you want to experience travelling on a night train, you can also choose to take the Intercite de nuit that operates by night.
