There are 2 main stations in Milan.
The city's main railway station is Milan Centrale, considered to be one of the most beautiful stations in Europe. It serves most mainline and international trains.
Milan Porta Garibaldi Station is also central and used by Italo and high speed TGV trains to and from Paris.
Conveniently located in the centre of Milan close to all the popular sites, Milan Centrale Station is less than 2 miles from the city centre. There's a choice of public transport to take you into the city if you don't fancy the walk, including Milan's handy Metro service running to and from the station. If you require assistance when boarding the train or getting around the station head to Sala Blu which is located on the ground floor, by Platform 3. Opening hours are from 07:00 - 21:00. There are left luggage facilities at the station, located on the ground floor by Piazza Luigi di Savoia. Opening hours are from 06:00 - 23:00 every day. Lost Property is a service run by Milan City Council located on Via Friuli 30. Opening hours are from 08:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
There is tourist information available at the station on the first floor. Opening hours are from 08:00 - 19:00 Monday to Saturday and from 09:00 - 18:00 on Sunday. The main Tourist Information Office is located in the city centre and is open from 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Saturday and from 09:00 - 15:00 Sundays and Pubilc Holidays.
FIRST CLASS LOUNGE
There is access to the Eurostar Club Lounge for passengers travelling with Trenitalia's frequent traveller card 'Club Eurostar'. Opening Hours: 07:00-21:00 Daily. Location: Platforms floor, Galleria di Testa. The Club Eurostar Lounge features a comfortable waiting room where you can watch TV, use computers, access the Internet or even use photocopiers and faxes. You can also ask for your luggage to be securely stored for up to 12 hours free of charge, store valuables in a safe and book car rentals.
MILAN PORTA GARIBALDI
The station is located just north of Porta Garibaldi and is connected to Metro and train services connecting you with the rest of the city. There is also a taxi rank just outside the station. Address: Piazza Sigmund Freud 1, 20124 Milano.
